What is WARDOGS?
WARDOGS is a tactical All-Out Warfare FPS from BULKHEAD, the UK studio behind Battalion 1944 and The Turing Test, published by Team17. One hundred players split across three teams battle over a randomized 2x2km Control Zone in the derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe — the first team to 100 points wins. Every match is 100% player-driven, with tactical gunplay, combined arms combat and a fully destructible battlefield.
100-Player Tactical FPS
Three teams of 100 players fight for one randomized 2x2km Control Zone — first to 100 points wins. Every match is a player-driven battle.
Cash-Driven Economy
Start with $10,000 and buy a custom loadout every life. Cash persists from match to match, so every decision has long-term consequences.
Destructible Battlefield
Level apartment blocks with rocket launchers, fortify chokepoints, and build forward operating bases to control the terrain.
Teamplay Is Monetized
Reviving, transporting and controlling objectives all earn cash. A Hot Zone pays double — coordinate your squad and profit.
The cash-driven economy sets WARDOGS apart: you start each journey with $10,000 and buy a custom loadout every life, with cash persisting from match to match. Teamplay is monetized — reviving, transporting and controlling objectives all earn cash, and a Hot Zone pays double. You can snipe from a ghillie suit, ferry supplies by helicopter, fortify a chokepoint into a forward operating base, or rain destruction from an artillery tank.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I play WARDOGS?+
WARDOGS is a tactical All-Out Warfare FPS. In the core mode, 100 players split into three teams fight over a randomized 2x2km Control Zone, and the first team to 100 points wins. You spawn into a match, buy a loadout with your persistent cash, and fight alongside your squad to hold the objective zone. Proximity voice chat makes coordination natural.
What is All-Out Warfare?+
All-Out Warfare is the launch game mode — a King of the Hill inspired format. Three teams compete over a single randomized Control Zone, and the team with the most players inside the zone earns points over time. The first team to 100 points wins the match. It combines tactical gunplay, combined arms vehicles and a fully destructible battlefield.
How do I earn cash?+
Cash is earned through teamplay. Reviving downed teammates pays out, transporting players and supplies earns money, and helping control the objective generates income. The Hot Zone pays double cash but is much riskier. Your cash balance persists from match to match, letting you save for better loadouts and vehicles.
How do loadouts work?+
You start your WARDOGS journey with $10,000 in cash. Before each life you spend that cash on weapons, gear, utility and vehicles to build a custom loadout. Loadouts are not free and cash carries over between matches, so you need to balance spending on the current life against saving for the long term.
What is the Hot Zone?+
The Hot Zone is a high-value area on the map that pays double cash for objectives and actions taken inside it. It is also the most dangerous part of the battlefield, drawing fire from all three teams. Pushing the Hot Zone is a high-risk, high-reward decision that can swing the match if timed well.
What is the best weapon for beginners?+
For new players, a versatile assault rifle like the Valkyra A-91 or Lonestar Bushmaster is the safest primary — accurate at medium range and forgiving up close. Pair it with a reliable sidearm and spend the rest of your budget on armor and utility. See our Weapons and Tier List guides for detailed breakdowns.
How do I revive teammates?+
Medics are the primary revivers — approach a downed teammate and use the revive interaction to bring them back. Reviving is monetized in WARDOGS: it pays cash and keeps your squad at full strength, so Medics are always in demand. Non-Medics should secure the area while a Medic works.
How does building work?+
The Engineer and Builder classes construct fortifications such as sandbags, barricades and forward operating bases. Building requires the right tools and costs resources or cash. Fortifying chokepoints and building FOBs to resupply the frontline are core tactical plays in WARDOGS.
How do I drive and fly vehicles?+
Vehicles are crewed — helicopters need a Pilot, tanks need a driver and gunner. Ground vehicles are driven with standard WASD controls, while helicopters require throttle and collective management. Most vehicles have multiple seats, so coordinate with your squad. See the Vehicles guide for full controls and crew roles.
Can I play WARDOGS solo?+
WARDOGS is a team-based multiplayer FPS built around 100-player three-team matches. There is no single-player campaign, but you can play without a premade squad — the game will place you with teammates, and proximity voice chat makes it easy to coordinate on the fly.
